I received this book through the @penmancybooknook book review program just before I decided to nap
in my ME TIME. But I had to change my plan, because there was no way I was not going to get my hands
on the book after the Sonny boy returned from school. So I thought of giving up on my nap and
started reading. And how right was I, he has stolen it from me and hence I am using the same picture
I clicked to post the story!
It is a quick read (36 pages), but the beautiful marriage that has happened between the impactful
story telling and catchy graphics is outstanding. This book also promises to teach crucial life
lessons. Aru, a teenager has a passion for wrestling and a strong desire to help his father in his
catering business too. Aru does not like cooking but his intent to help his father in his business
is uncompromised. How he manages to do both is what the story is about, won't give away spoilers!
But one thing is sure, this little story carries a very important life lessons for young adults and
teenagers.
While the language is easy breezy, the colourful, vibrant artwork makes it an apt read for kids. The
placing of text and illustration is wisely done so that one does not dominate the impact of the
other. The colourful print does make the book a bit expensive, but it is sure to become a forever
keep. Looking forward to more from Supriya's pen!
