Book Title - Echoes Of The Past: Untold Stories Resurfaced
Author - Paulomi Babre
Given thriller any day, I would not pick it up, the weak-hearted person I am. Thank you Paulomi and
Priya for sending a copy, I did read the book, I am happy that I did not let it pass.
And, if you are underestimating Paulomi's thriller writing skills for a child, better don't. This
book consists of 8 stories, two of which I liked more than the others. "Departed as 6, Returned as
4" & "Who is Olivia?" All the stories manage to scare you well, but these two in particular, I loved
the plot and overall story. I am in awe of the variety that Paulomi offers, it's like Chota Packet
Bada Dhamaka! The prompts provided by Priya would not have been easy, but the girl opens surprises
layer by layer with each story. I am impressed by the language and word usage to be precise.
Most of the time, thrilling stories remain mysterious for readers. Paulomi has been thoughtful by
adding Q & A in the ending, where she answers a few questions that might strike the reader's head
while or after they finish reading the story.
As a 13-year-old, Paulomi has surpassed my expectations of a thriller from her. I know Paulomi has
done everything on her own, the book formatting, cover design, and publishing; And that's why an
extra hoot from my side for this work of effort and determination. May this book get all the love
and recognition it deserves, a little more, because it is self-published.
