"Thuuudd..."
(noise of someone falling from bed)
"Aaahhhh... Oouuchh... This hurts.. (rubbing eyes) Am I still hung over..?? Last night, I shouldn't
have drunk like there is no tomorrow. But who would leave the chance to gulp unlimited free liquor
from a 5-star restaurant in the town?! Perks of being an influencer-cum-content creator-cum- blogger
and... Oh! It hurts so badly. Sh*t! And, by the way, I am Yugam, a Famous Indian content creator who
has visibly partied hard all night on the 31st of December." The first thing he does is unlock his
phone and check his Instagram account. To his surprise (or shock!) his bio has been changed from
"Content Creator" to "Content Factory". His feed was full of reels that showed how to be happy and
"Content" with all that we have in life.
He reaches out to fellow content creators. And they have already accepted whatever their bio said
without any second thought. They have even started making reels on those lines and started looking
for the possibility of collaborations with ventures on similar lines. His dilemma was powerful and
he wanted to try every possibility of finding out what happened on the night of the 31st. In his
efforts to find that out, he tried to reach all the celebrities he collaborated with and interviewed
in the past. They knew him by his name but unfortunately did not agree on the collaboration part. He
was shocked. He tried to search for pictures to support what he was saying. But he had no records
and he failed there too.
After making every possible attempt, upset and disappointed, he returned home stomping his feet. He
parked himself on the sofa in the living room and accidentally sat on the remote of the TV. He
thought the news channels may be showing something about this tragic transformation, and hence he
switched on the TV. The news anchor was demure and was reading the news softly. This made him wonder
if he traveled back in time because the news channels he saw did not function like this anymore.
Then, his last resort was to talk about it on Instagram only. So he posted one story and he
immediately lost a few followers. He was determined to get back his content creation, so taking a
step ahead, he made a Reel to share his problem. His account started losing followers even more
rapidly. Finally, he decided to go Live and get responses, but his account got suspended.
He thought of taking legal action, but no one believed in what said. Helpless, he started mentoring
the aspiring "Content Factory Applicants" by influencing them in the right way. He helped them
understand the basics, tips, and tricks of the content factory and also taught them ways to grow
organically.
When asked about stats and ways to go Viral in an interview, he instantly responded "That doesn't
matter at all" It was impromptu and he subconsciously knew it. He realized this contradicted with
what he did earlier, in 2024. He experienced how being Content and then making content was a
different and fulfilling process. He learned "Content can be anything and everything, but everything
is not content. It is okay to draw a line as to what to post and follow a niche rather than posting
what is trending. Because trends are timely, making content has to be sustainable. As far as
virality is concerned, only informative, genuine, and good content should be supported to go Viral.
Also, when you collaborate, try to do it with like-minded people over the ones who seek and care
only about numbers." Listening to these tips, the audience went berserk in appreciation. Yugam
himself couldn't believe he had spilled some unexpected beans and thrown truth bombs by educating
his audience about how social media should be used in real life. Yugam stood true to his name - he
may have possibly brought a new Yug ka Ugam.
