Favourite shows and books from 2024

Till 2024, I was not more into watching video content, only TV (sports and usual food channels) I was often judged for same. But it was and is seriously too difficult for me to sneak time from my schedule and I hate when there is interruption in watching time. I used to subscribe to OTT platforms and my money used to go in vain.

2024 came with a solution. I subscribed to Royal Stag Select Large Short Films and a new arena opened for me. Short films were an unexplored domain, also underrated to a large extent. Difficult to choose a few selected short films as I have seen so many of them and each is a gem.



I also enjoyed watching The Real Feminist by Hauterfly hosted by Siddharth Aalambayan. Can't say if I agree with everything that happens in that show, but it is good entertainment.

Reading picked up pace for me in 2024. Most memorable reads were, "The Fabulous Mums of Champion Valley" by Zareen Khan (courtesy Blogchatter) and "In Our Stories, We Live" by Nikita Shah. Thankful to have found a reading circle through Fabulous Four (Manali Desai, Tanvi Agarwal, Siddharth Agarwal, and myself) where we discuss a common read monthly on Instagram Live.

Overall, 2024 has been an entertaining year that provided exploring new sources of reading and watching.
