The pandemic has changed so many things.
For some, life changed, businesses collapsed, finances
fumbled, for others, basic necessities were at stake.
However, I have come across people who used
this whole lockdown and social distancing constructively and fruitfully.
People found time to pause
and do self-introspection, spend time with family,
perceive hobbies, picking up new skills to learn.
Some of my friends even started their business ventures during the pandemic.
I somehow feel this
pandemic has been an eye-opener, helping us set our priorities rightly,
realizing what matters,
really; investing time in the right things and people,
making us hear our inner voices to eventually
nurture our hobby and passion.
Almost two years, and we now are capable of living without traveling,
shopping,
and many other luxuries that otherwise we're easily available! The generations to come
would read stories of survival from this pandemic !
I also tried making most of this pandemic in my way,
kept writing almost every single day to keep
myself sane,
and it helped me; so well that I ended up releasing two books!
Today I am going to
share another story of a little girl who also made the best use of all
time she got in lockdown and
is all set to make a debut being published as an
illustrator in my book "Whispers Of a Budgie" at
the age of 9! Read on to know more!
ABOUT HUNARR
Hunarr Bahuguna is a young and vivacious reader, storyteller, and budding art lover.
Her love of
books keeps her imagination alive and her visualization creative.
Learning new things with an
artistic touch keeps her enthused.
She enjoys working with patterns, colors, and designs.
She has
participated in many school-level art and craft events.
She strives to use her pencil strokes to
bring out fun, emotions as well as an innocent realism to her sketches.
She loves to take on responsibilities and enjoys acting as a leader while shouldering them.
She
believes in fairies and witches with the same conviction as she believes in saving our environment
and doing the right thing in life.
Upon asking, “What made her draw?” she says, “Actually Aunty, I was very poor at drawing.
I made my
very first drawing when I was pestering my dad to play with me,
he instead chose to rest on his
favorite couch!” inspiration can come from anywhere if we are genuinely seeking it!
Also talking
about her plans,
she dreams of writing as well as illustrating her storybook!
It was an absolute pleasure working with this hard-working, super talented, and dedicated girl.
I
wish her loads of success, love, and best wishes for her colorful life ahead !
