X-Factor

"Mumma, my friend is bad at maths and I am better than him. So is math my X-factor?" (Just the kind of questions I get to hear every day once he returns from school)

"Wait. Where did you get to know about X-factor?" My regular FBI-style research started.

"There would be kids whose maths would be better than yours. And it has to be a unique and noticeable quality."

"Then what is my X factor?"

"Think. Introspect."

"Can cycling without supporters be an X-factor?"

"No"

"I can recognize the make of cars and bikes from their ignition. Is that an X factor?"

"Yes."

"Yaay! I finally have an X factor. You don't have to think na Mumma, you have so many X factors."

"Yes. Patience is definitely one of them."
